Alas, an End!
So...yup. This blog has about run its course. I'll be starting a new one to usher in 2008, but this one'll still be around for perusing and such. Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere.

Not really. Just some minor trespassing and criminal mischief.

Nope.

Wouldn't know.
5. What color shirt are you wearing right now?
Black (I was going to type "negro" as in Spanish for "black," but then I realized that it looks bad if people don't know it's Spanish. Oops).
6. What's the weather like?
Snowy and freakin' cold.
7. Can you see your phone?
Don't have one.
8. Do you have any pets?
A rabbit, two bull frogs, a painted turtle, and a handful of koi.
9. What are you listening to right now?
My dad clicking the mouse on his laptop and the dull roar of something outside our motel room.
10. What color are your eyes?
Bluesies.
11. Have you ever been called a bitch?
In a joking sense, yes.
12. How about a fag?
Uh...not. This one's a little touchier than "bitch".
13. Over the summer were you tan?
I had a bit of a farmer's tan goin' on.

Sitting on a motel bed typing this as my contact tweaks out. I'm also sad about how the female president of Pakistan was killed by a carbomb, which my dad just told me. Is peace a little too much to ask?
15. What did you do yesterday?
Oooch. I don't really remember. I read a large chunk of I Am America (And So Can You!), which my parents got me for Christmas. I finished it this morning. Very entertaining.

Oooch. Um...6 to 7, perhaps.

Not really sure, actually. Not Thanksgiving, though. Not a big fan of turkey.

a trend, i ken
It seems that Radiohead started something with their "hey, pay whatcha want" method back in October. I keep hearing random reports of bands jumping off labels and going solo. The two most recent ones: Switchfoot and Jars of Clay (well...Jars jumped ship and then created their own label just for themselves. It's close...whatevs).

Song of the Week
Ok, it's back. With all the Thanksgiving/Finals/Winter Break things happening, this kinda got skipped over in the hubbub. This week's song is "Peace is Here" from Jars of Clay's Christmas Songs album. It's meant to be a Christmas song, but it's applicable to year-round situations. When Dan Haseltine starts singing the "Gloria" bit, it just gives me chills.
